84 Vumbura - Pilanesberg
16 Mar
So the next morning, Monday I went back to the airfield to check the plane – and fortunately it was not damaged, and it had not moved.
I had time for an excursion in a “Moloko”, a small canoe, in the morning, and in the afternoon in a motor pram to see the delta.
This morning Tuesday, I went for a game-drive in a Land rover, and saw lions, elephants, giraffes and much more. It made it up for a very memorably stay, also considering, it was an all included stay with food, drinks and excursions for about $ 450. The food was not just served – but accompanied with a show of dance and singing by the staff. That can be a pain, but here it was done in a very enjoyable way.
At noon I was taken back to the airstrip and I left for Maun, to check out with immigration etc. After an hour, I was on my way to South Africa, and after a 3 hour flight, I landed here in Pilanesberg, a small international airport. I was the only plane there. In no time I was through the formalities, and I was picked up by a shuttle from the nearby Sun Resort.
